If I wrote a novel about the advent of teleporters in the current world, it would probably be a sci-fi thriller. ( If I had to condense the plot and set it to music, it would sound something like THIS - )

Or if you don't do that, at least send those lyrics to Blue Oyster Cult, cos it sounds like something they could do an awesome job with. ;)

Heh. A lot of it fell out of the time I asked myself the question of how teleporters could be introduced without utterly smashing the world economy. The novel, such as it is, revolves around what happens when this softly-softly approach is *not* followed.

And yes, every phrase and lyric has a corresponding scene and plot point. The tune, of course, is "We Didn't Start The Fire."
