Just an idle thought/meme, although it would probably do better on one of the more political communities:

Someone who listens to you becomes the next leader of your country, and is in the enviable position of being able to do damn near anything they want, politically. They ask you what one thing most needs doing Right Freakin' Now.

On a more serious note, I'd probably demand a raise in salaries for all nurses and teachers, and a 50% cutback in the number of administrators in all departments of Health and Education.

Lessee, currently people making $25K pay just over one ninth in tax... 30K sit on about one seventh. I guess it could be cut back, although there's always the potential problem of creating a large 'taxless' underclass, whereas at the moment even people making $116 a week can say "I pay my taxes

More money towards Education, raise the salary for our teachers then Health Care, Welfare, and Immigration.

Oh, and one more thing. I think they should fix how they keep outsourcing American jobs to over seas. I think they should apply the same principle the state demands from builders. If they cut down any tree’s they have to replace everyone one tree with two. Fine, out source all you want but that doesn’t get you off the hook, you’re now responsible for creating two new jobs here in America for the one you just outsourced over seas. It’s going to get to the point where you have to move over seas just to get a job you’re qualified for in order to make a decent living.
