I've finally gotten round to starting to play with Flock, so this is my first post to see what's what.

There sure are. Alas, flock doesn't yet support any of the advanced LJ options like private or friends locked. Sorry for the friends page spammage.

so... you're saying that it's kinda line flikr but requiring of a specific browser to use it? can you say "bait and switch"? you can? crap. in which case, how about "hail ceasar, those who are about to die salute you"?

without resorting to a search engine...

Um, no. It's basically the firefox core with addons for blogging/photo sites/RSS feeds. It's using existing services which can be accessed through any other browser.
Their flickr uploader tool looks much nicer than the one flickr provide, but I haven't had any photos to try it out with yet.
The blog posting doen't support many of the LJ specific thing, because it's designed to work with a whole bunch of different sites.
