My inability recently to take a PC tower case home unassisted (a lighter object of the same dimensions, or a smaller object of the same weight would be fine, but I was concerned about stability, both of the load and of me) has reignited interest in acquiring a trailer ( Read more... )

In SE Asia they'd say you were nothing until you'd ridden with a couple of five year old kids, a couple of chooks, and a live pig strapped across your back rack.

Alternatively a 2 wheel child trailer style (like Tamia's). I've occasionally seen kmart et al have really cheap ones (~AU$100). I wouldn't use a cheap one on remote tour, but would it be useful for proof-of-concept, and may last well enough for city use.

Fold for storage would definitely be a plus.

Been using a trailer myself these last couple of weeks. Riding into an Esperance headwind with Micah and Orla in the back. Gets the heart rate up, I can tell you.
