My very best news is that a thing that seemed to be wrong with my car is not wrong at all. The suspicious noise was being caused by the jack in my trunk, unsecured after my flat two weeks ago. I was seriously thinking of buying a new car rather than put more money into this one, but I will put that off a little longer now. I hate being rushed into

I love your costume idea and am very impressed that you're pulling it off in Florida! I'm sure that whatever happens, you'll both look bitchin'. :)
And the fact that you're making your nephew a Goku costume is awesome. I take it that you do a lot of costuming?

My costume depends largely on a faux fur coat bought online from bonanzle.com vendor in Canada. It spent a couple of days sitting around up there, and now that it's in the states it's still just sitting around, in customs? I will be sad if don't get it in time. Coatless!Howard! Not as fun as pantless!Howard! :)
I only do costuming around Halloween and the occasional school event for my nephews. I usually just hand-sew but Goku required me to make an entire outfit, so my roommate is teaching me to machine-sew. Sort of. :) I'm sure I could win awards for worst machine-sewer ever. At least in the region!

I wish your coat a swift journey! Because you're right, coatless!Howard isn't nearly as much fun as pantless!Howard. But then again, very few things are as much fun as pantless!Howard. :)
If it doesn't arrive on time, you could make up an elaborate story about how you lost it... or gave it away in an act of noble self sacrifice. :P
I'm still impressed by your costuming. I can't sew to save my life, so my costuming consists of scouring Value Village, which might be limiting... but it's still fun.
Oh dear... now I'm on bonazzle.com. I can see myself wasting a lot of time here. :S

What is Value Village? A thrift store?
Howard gave his coat to some half-frozen inuits. They were quite impressed that he's been able to kill such a large mink. :D
