"Many people, meeting Aziraphale for the first time, formed three impressions: that he was English, that he was intelligent, and that he was gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide. Two of these were wrong."

Somebody is reading Good Omens...

Hee.

My TBR pile is so huge that I cannot justify re-reading this. Mustn't.Give.In.

Resistance is futile! :) After the first night in my apocalypse class, I knew I had to read it again, and so when I went to look for a new Bible, I bought this, too, my old copy being permanently borrowed.

DON'T THINK OF IT AS DYING, THINK OF IT AS LEAVING EARLY TO AVOID THE RUSH.

Ahh! You keep quoting all these great lines.

If When I pull out my copy tonight, I'll know whose fault it is!

I got to a bit this morning I'd forgotten about, the "Embarassing Personal Problems" and "Things Not Working Properly Even After You've Given Them a Good Thumping" bit. I laughed so hard I woke up the Captain. ^__^

I'd be proud to be at fault.

What a great line! And thanks to elspethsheir, I don't even have to ask what book it is.

::wonders if I own it and, if so, where the frell I put it::

Have you never read it?! I thought the whole of the literate, English-speaking worl had read it! Most of them twice!

I recommend it. :)

*giggle* I quoted the bit on houseplants yesterday to a friend of mine... he snortled. *grin* I adore that book, I really do. Especially the bits about Queen. *snort*

Haha, I love that part. I can so see Crowley threatening his plants, in his sunglass and slick suit. It's genius. ^__^

Heh. Queen. ^ ^

!!! Hehe

I haven't read Good Omens yet, although it's been on my 'reading list' forever now.

A friend of mine just finished reading it, and she is demanding I read it ASAP. (I almost bought a copy of it today because I couldn't wait until she got hers). I started mentioning this quote but didn't get very far because she recited it for me. XD

Movie Maker magazine with Christian Bale malevolentia September 7 2005, 11:20:11 UTC
Hi there!
I know this might be a strange question but anyways I saw that you had scanned the magazine "Movie Maker" for http://www.awesomebale.org/ and I have been looking for that magazine for AGES. I have a Clea DuVall fansite: www.cleaduvall.net and she is that magazine and I was wondering if I could pay for that page with her? It's SO rare and I'm dying to find it! You can mail me at maria@cleaduvall.net or just post a comment here.
Lots of love /Maria

Hmm... let me consider. I shall do it for... ONEMILLIONDOLLAR!!

Heh. :) It's no problem at all, and no charge at all! Always happy to aid in fandom or any sort. Once I get home tonight I'll find her and scan it for you. Although, if you don't hear from me tonight or tomorrow, you might want to remind me again. I don't mind at all, I'm just terribly forgetful. :)

Hmm. Well. I haven't forgotten, but I can't seem to find the article. If she's in there, it's certainly not a feature article. Are you sure you have the right mag?

Hi sweetheart!
That's really strange, actually I don't know which photo or anything that she should be in the mag but I think it's one of the rare photos with her.. Hmm has Christian been on more then one "Movie Maker" magazine cover maybe?
Love /Maria
