I find it interesting that both Walmart & Macy's are conducting mass layoffs.

You know looking at this list it looks like a lot of the socalled big companies are on it. You would think that they would be the ones to fire last?

I'm not completely surprised by the energy or technology companies cutting jobs to be honest. Energy companies speaks for itself that's obviously due to the oil prices. I also read at the beginning of the year that the global spend on technology is expected to fall by 2% this year.
