And also, here are the results of a poll we took back in February as to what level we thought gas would have to reach in order for you to a)spend less on gas, and b)to pull back on spending, overall.

The cheapest (and what I'm paying for it) was $3.599 this morning.

There's a lot of gas stations running at 3.75 - $4.00 and the higher grades are usually between $4.00 and $4.25.

I just said a few days ago that I fully expect to see $5 a gallon around here before the summer is over. We're at $4.10/15 now. [that's for Regular btw]

I have been hearing that as well. I just hope the high gas prices allow more competition from alternatives.

In order for this to happen, Repubs and CorpDems need to start getting big government out of the way ie: end oil and coal subsidies

I've gotten a new (to me) car last week. It's bigger because that will actually be practical in our winters here -- the car we had literally got torn apart by the ice and snow. Unfortunately it also has a bigger gas tank and gets less mpg. I'd get something more fuel efficient but I can barely afford this one as it is ( ... )

Also, I buy mid-grade. Regular is more expensive because the mid-grade has 10% ethanol and gets subsidized to the tune of 10 cents less per gallon.

Me too! If I didn't have to go on hwy 49 to get to a grocery store, I might just do that.

I don't drive and I'm blissfully oblivious to the price of gas.
