I've fantasized about digitizing my library, media and music collection. But to be honest, I love the presence of my books. And it's easier to curl up with a battery-free book in bed or outside than it is to embrace a screen.

Someone said that you have to back your stuff up in at least 6 different places to assure yourself that your stuff will survive a crash.

William Gibson and Neal Stephenson were right about this, they foresaw that people could live this way 20-30 years ago.
