Chamber of Commerce Says Taxpayers Should Help Pay for BP Spill Cleanup

It sure seems to me that the full cost of cleanup needs to be shared. The majority of the $$ needs to come from BP. BP should not be allowed to pay any dividends until ALL the oil spill cleanup has been paid in full. BP should not be permitted to pay any salaries in excess of $50K per year until the cleanup is paid for.

Then all the idiots in BP and in the Federal Government who OK'd this fiasco, bypassed safety regs, broke safety procedures, etc. need to be put in jail without bail, have 100% of their personal assets confiscated to help pay for the cleanup, then tried on capital charges. From Dick Cheney on down. Not just PB in the US, but also all officers in BP residing in England. If England refuses to extradite BP execs in England, I say we send in troops to grab the executives. Threatening to drop a small nuke on parliament would be a good idea too.

Hey, I just thought up of a way Boehner can keep that nice tan without having to worry about too many UV rays - and even save the taxpayer a little money...

And all these politicians love rolling around in all the money big oil provides them - why not also roll around in the oil, itself!
