That looks ugly. I am looking for a second job, but I would still work less than 20 hours a week. How is that any progress?

Go get that second job, even if it's only a part-time job! You'll lower the national rate of lost jobs by one! If just seven hundred thousand Americans would do this, we could get that figure back up to zero! Recovery, at last! ;)
