This is such a worthy cause, and I wish I could help. I think everyone should have a prom, even if they hate it. It's such a "normal" thing to have in the high school years. Unfortunately, I was recently unemployed and now playing catch up with all those bills...let me know if there is another way to help...maybe donating dresses? You mentioned providing those, so I dont' know if they are donated or if that is another expense you are raising money for?
I completely understand. everyone is pretty strapped for cash right now. however, you are absolutely rright, we could totally use dresses. we usually get them through an organization who gets them through donations, and each school pays a fee for their services. but we have no idea if we can afford it, and many of our students don't have the money to go out and buy a dress off the racks. so if you've been waiting to get rid of that "boob dress" we would totally love you for it. :)
lol, god help the lucky recipient of the boob dress! I will look through and see what I still have, I honestly dont know if I still have the boob dress or not. I will also talk to a few friends and see if they have any dresses they want to donate. I'll keep you posted, and if I get any dresses rounded up, I'll get an address from you as to where to ship them...probably the schools address so you dont have to worry about transporting them from your home to the school?
