1. Wow, you're really going to do this to me?? Um. This changes regularly, but right now I'm in a big Blade Runner phase. It keeps getting better every time I watch it.
2. Well, it's a close tie, but I think Snape wins this round. I don't know how to explain it...I'm not a "Snape fangirl" (they tend to romanticize him a bit too much in fanfiction) but I am so entertained by how bitter he is, and I love reading fanfiction where he's really in character. And Alan Rickman makes him even more awesome!
3. Uugh, reality shows. Okay, if I REALLY had to be on one, it would be Project Runway...and I would get kicked off immediately because I'm not fast enough. XD But it would be so awesome to meet Tim Gunn!

1. Oh man. I need to re-watch Blade Runner. I was really tired when I tried to watch it and fell asleep for most of it. :(

2. UGH Snape fangirls... OK he's not evil, but he's not exactly a good person either. But yeah, he's entertaining and I REALLY felt for him once we found out just how much he loved Lily. :( And I agree about Alan Rickman! :D

3. LOL Tim Gunn is awesome, it would be amazing to meet him in person!!

Yeah, the first time I watched Blade Runner I was just confused. I thought I was about to watch some sci-fi action flick, and it was a lot more cerebral than I expected, so my initial reaction to the film was, "Bzuh??" And then I watched it again and went, "Oh okay." And upon a third viewing I decided it was a REALLY good movie. Just make sure you watch the director's cut for the "true" ending. :)

Aaw Snape and Lily. I still get misty-eyed. ;_;

1. I'd have to say Fullmetal Alchemist, but when the second season of Gundam 00 starts in October, it'll be a tie. ^_^ I love FMA because it's a perfect combination of emotional drama and adorable comic relief...I love Gundam 00 because it's filling the void Gundam Wing left behind. I really missed my dose of political drama and hot boys piloting Gundams! XD
2. My Sally costume from The Nightmare Before Christmas, definitely. I've worn it more than any other costume. I'd say Faye Valentine comes in second, only because there are a few details on that costume that bug me.
3. I'm still bothered by my Albert cosplay from Gankutsuou. It was rushed, and the end result looked very different from what I'd planned. Plus I didn't bind my hips, so it wasn't a particularly good crossplay. :/

2. What is your theory on the popularity of yaoi?
3. What is one cosplay you'd love to do, but feel that you could never pull off?

1. Yes, and it was epic. I couldn't believe how young Jodi Foster was. You know, it's been a while...I should watch it again.
2. Depends on who's reading it -- the younger girls tend to go for "TEH HOT BOYSS!!1!" in every aspect of their lives (how else to explain the 90's boy band craze?) and yaoi is simply an aspect of that, whereas older women tend to use yaoi as a sort of feminist escapism; you don't have to worry about how female characters are portrayed because there aren't any, so it's like porn except without the turnoff of The Impossible Female You Can't Relate To. (I'm also talking about slash here.) Plus, there's a sort of voyeuristic quality to yaoi that people enjoy without realizing it. I have to admit, I'm making VERY broad generalizations here. ^.^
3. Lal'C from Diebuster...she's really awesome and her costume looks fun to make, but there is NO WAY IN HELL I could pull that off...she's petite, tan, and has a body like an 11 year old boy. Not gonna happen. :(
