The absolute, unmitigated, absolutely worst part of actually being a patient was the boredom.
Well, no. The lack of sex outweighed the boredom, but only slightly. And a close contender was the side effects from all the meds he'd made Chase prescribe him. At least the morphine was fending off the headache. Wasn't doing much for anything else, though.
He tossed another journal down toward the foot of his bed. God, he was bored.
