The seal had broken and Ganondorf was freed from the Sacred Realm. All in all, not good. Zelda had done all she could to stop him, but even her powers when transformed as Sheik weren't enough to stop him and she was trapped inside a crystal prison. Link was fighting the best way he knew how, deflecting Ganondorf's magic with the Master Sword and attacking him with the Light Arrows she'd given him in the Temple of Time.
She couldn't help but wince as Ganondorf rushed Link, knocking him to the ground. She loved him, the quiet little fairy boy, and wished there was something she could do to help him. However, trapped in the prison, there wasn't much she could do. Eventually, after several blows were exchanged, Link managed to subdue the evil Gerudo king and free her from her prison. The relief was short lived, however, because Ganondorf had the Triforce of Power.
The evil in his heart was reflected in his form as he used the Triforce to transform into a monster. No longer Ganondorf the man: the hulking monstrosity resembled a moblin, only sported a long tail. She and Link escaped the castle keep and went out to the courtyard and Zelda created a shield to protect herself. Occasionally tossing Pieces of Heart, she watched in horror as Link took on the monster ten times his size.
Soon, however, good prevailed and Link had destroyed the monster, returning the Triforce of Power to its rightful place in the Sacred Realm. Zelda went to Link in hopes of having a talk with him when she was struck with blinding pain. Her vision was blurry as she tried to call out for help, astral rings of light ringing her eyes. She closed her eyes, intending to lie down when she fainted, falling to hit cool stone.
When she awoke, it was in a sterile white room, stainless steel and glass all around. Strange instruments were lined up on the counter and she didn't know what was going on. She saw a man with a small box in his hand and found her voice, surprised to find it rough from disuse.
"Where am I?"
