It's probably the bears doing this. Evolved (not that evolution exists) bears, with a small grasp on biological warfare and the ability to plot. They're systematically poisoning him, with their bear germs.
Or maybe it's the liberals. Whichever.
All Stephen knows is that his head hurts, his throat hurts, and his fever won't go down. Three days of aches and pains and it's just getting worse; he considers visiting the doctor's office, but without him, who will deliver the Truth to America?
Instead, he barks for an aspirin, and then orders Intern 27 to inform him if America needs him, he'll be in his office.
Stephen is halfway through the door when he realizes that he's made a wrong turn somewhere. He doesn't remember this room (nor did he think the building had a room this size, but he supposes that's Tad's job to know), but that's all right. There are plenty of rooms Stephen's never ventured into. The employee break room, for one.
Deciding he's too tired to hunt for his office, he sits down in a nearby chair. Someone will find him, eventually. Really, he just needs to rest his eyes for a moment, and then he'll get right back to work.
