A good way to think

The thing about this song that a lot of people get wrong is that they fixate on where the protagonist "is", and forget that the message is to be on the move, to write your story, to experience. Where you are now is dull and blank only in comparison to what lies ahead. The song is encouraging you to live your live, to drink deeply and with full awareness.

I hope Fnordius is right - the song talks to me about decisions that still have to be made, and hardships to overcome, or perhaps that viewpoint is uniquely mine from the specific viewpoint I have.
