Oh, but one thing. I'm a newbie to LJ still, but I've seen a lot of people say stuff like "You hotlink, you die". Fearing for my life, I figured I'd ask: what the hell is hotlinking?

Well, technically, since you don't know, I wouldn't want to give you any ideas and I have no reason to fear you will. But I trust you -- I BELIEVE it's just using the URL when you click under properties to use up people's photobucket bandwidth. It's mean and makes me sad. :(

Ah, thank you! What I do for icons usually is save them to my own computer, and upload them from there. That shouldn't affect others, right?
