Hell, this sounds tough. Sorry you're having all this stress with what should be--and I'm sure will be, ultimately--a fantastic adventure. I know you'll be able to bend them to your not inconsiderable will, but sucks that you have to exert that pressure. Hoping for you that it all resolves, and soon.
