I love the mediocracy of the supermarket - especially the end, as if nothing had happened - in contrast with all the craziness and explosions of the middle. So good. :]

Wow-this packed in a fully developed story. It was sweet to share the lover's joy for each other and then you take us into the devastating violence that would lead to the sorrow of their lost love. And throwing in the AU stuff too. Some really great and adventurous writing.

You can write "sweet and lovey" and horror/scary/intense too.
