The other day I picked up Naval History Magazine April issue which had a whole thing on the Pacific. I scanned a couple of things just in case anyone is interested.

The actors portraying both the Americans and the Japanese had to go to boot camp. By the way, I read in an article about Dale Dye that he had a problem with those portraying the Americans. They would sneak off to beg for some of from the Japanese camp. Apparently, the actors playing the Japanese soldiers had better food during boot camp than the Americans.

Thank you for the scans! The whole issue seems absolutely intriguing, but I don't think the mag is available here in Finland.
