It turns out that the third full weekend of every month is International Hermit & Stitch Weekend. I did not know this. I found out too late to participate last month, but I thought I'd give it a try this month. (There's an official sign-up and blog community, but I'm not much of a joiner, so I just did this for me

You do the greatest BBC Sherlock cross-stitch. I agree with you on the color change. Sherlock, in particular, looks much closer to my mental image.

I'm just happy the skin color came out okay. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a skin tone that doesn't have undertones of pink in DMC floss.

Sadly, this is the only other chibi pattern I have. I have two others that are more realistic and serious, but one of them is too big to do in a weekend, so it'll have to wait until I finish all the little ones before I start it.
