I will definitely be seeing this one in the theater. I may even take a vacation day from work so I can see it on opening day.

I haven't been keeping up on the making or casting of this one; how the hell did they get Robert Redford?!?!??

Also, I already don't trust his character.

I have been following the making and casting, but the focus has largely been on Black Widow, the Winter Soldier, Falcon, and Agent 13, so I haven't really heard much about Robert Redford. Or maybe I couldn't hear it over the continuous high-pitched squeeing I've been doing ever since they announced the Winter Soldier was going to be in it.

I suppose to the demographic superhero films are aimed at, Robert Redford is just another old guy Hollywood dusted off for some unknown reason. :)

Well, let's face it, he's not going to be putting on a form-fitting uniform and going out into the field to chew bubblegum and kick ass, which is what people watch these movies to see.

Funnily I did too! LOL, and I hope it's not one of those where all the really good stuff is in the trailer. And then I went on to rewatch the Thor-DarkWorld trailers. And makings of, and on set interviews and basically just anything that had Loki and Tom Hiddleston in it and it devolved from there. Ahhh, youtube is such a time-thief. And then I realized I'll probably be unable to watch Thor (without forking a ridiculously over the top amount of weekend fare over) in cinemas, because I just signed away six weeks worth of all my evenings away to an internship. AAAAAAAARgH.

I liked Loki and Thor in Avengers, but I just couldn't get into Thor.

From what I've heard about Winter Soldier, it'll probably be less action-oriented than the trailer makes it look, but I'm okay with that. I like Steve Rogers as a person, and I want to see him as a planner and a leader and a man out of time. I'm also dying to see how his interactions with the Winter Soldier go. I'm hoping the Soldier is restored to himself by the end of the movie and that Cap 3, whatever it turns out to be, will have Steve and Bucky working together.
