I watched a heck of a lot of television that he wrote or produced, especially when I was growing up back in the '80s. In fact, I just finished watching season 1 of Silk Stalkings on DVD a couple of days ago. There was an interview with him as part of the extras.

I saw this and my heart sank and then I started chanting 'no no no no...' cause I seriously adore this guy. I love his shane scully novels and was so looking forward to the next one. I'm so crushed. He was a legend and I grew up loving his shows, so many of them were favorites of mine. :( I had no idea he was even ill.

I didn't know he was ill either. It was such a shock after just having watched that interview with him a couple of days ago. Logically I know that the interview was probably filmed years ago, but it feels like I just saw him.

I was (and still am, really) such a huge fan of The A-Team that it's not even funny. I still have all the tie-in novels, including the ones that were only published in the UK.
