I really like this song.

I know. I know. I'm obsessed. But this song is really pretty. I'd never heard any of Billy Corgan's Chicago songs before because I don't think he ever released them on album. He just performed them in different places in Chicago, and I think he started performing them on the tour for his solo album. I wonder if he ever plans to release them.

Haha. I know he's an egomaniacal asshole. And he admittedly likes the money. He's the kind of rockstar I'd normally hate. And I disliked him before I ever heard his music just because of something I heard him say once. I'm just kind of obsessed with his music. I like him as a songwriter and musician. I can make whatever opinion I want to about who he is as a person, but I can't deny that, atleast to me, he writes great songs. And when it comes to musicians and what music I listen to, it's all that matters.

I don't idolize anyone, really.

Also, I think the song is about the Chicago World's Fair. It's from a collection of songs about Chicago that he wrote.

You sure? I definitely got the impression he was saying "The world's fair to me". If I'm not mistaken, those are the lyrics at the beginning of the song.

I could be wrong. I am, a lot of the time.

Oh, he did say that. But I still think the song is about The World's Fair. He just included that after one of the lines to mix it up a bit, I guess. Maybe so it wasn't so repetitive. But I don't know for sure. I didn't right the song. I just know it came from a collction of songs about his hometown of Chicago, and there is a Chicago World's Fair.

I admit I got a bit bored of him after watching the beginning. I don't like watching him, but he makes some pretty good music. :p
