Marissa.  I thought that maybe she would redeem herself and I was hoping that she would because I wanted to love her with Ryan, I really, really did.  But no.  I hate her now and I will until she dies.  More on that under the cut, of course ^_^  2.  I love

I freaking HATED Oliver with a passion. This was my favorite season ever, and Ryan is SUCH a hottie. I never really liked Marissa either, she wasn't a very good actress in my eyes, but then again I never really like Ryan with anyone else either, they never found a good fit for him in the series. I actually just bought the 1st season and rewatched a few weeks ago, and it still made me angry at times and others I cried ... even though I KNEW what was going to happen. Gotta love that.

Yes, I totally agree. I would have left Marissa after those trials, or just hit her, that would have satisfied me just as much. *laughs* Seriously, can you say psycho? You just don't do that, especially not with someone you JUST met at a THERAPISTS office. Geez.

Heehee. Never stop bashing Marissa! It warms my heart. Man, she especially SUCKS in these episodes.

Oh, and in a few episodes you'll find out what happens with Seth's virginity.

Oh, man, the next episode, The Rivals, is one of my favorites (if only for a scene at the end).

I was thinking about The Countdown since your post yesterday and it does have some really fun Cohen moments (the whole 'I love you' 'thank you' thing was pretty hilarious). The end just bothers me since Anna is such a little backstabber and Summer goes home alone and sad on New Years.

Yeah, I love the whole Cohen family repoire that they have with one another. It's so fun to watch Sandy, Kirsten, Seth and Ryan in all their scenes together because they're either hilarious or heart warming. I love it. I'd rather just watch those four all the time than ever seeing Ryan/Marissa or Seth/Anna. Meh.

Don't worry, my Marissa hate is not going to end now. Up until last night I thought maybe, but no. Not after all she did to Ryan in those episodes. I hate that he still loves her after all this. I just know they sleep together at some point. I'd love you forever if you responded and said 'Nope, they don't!' But I know you won't. ::is sad::

Who does Seth sleep with? The suspense will drive me to search for the answer online and I'm at work...shouldn't really be surfing the net...actually, I shouldn't be doing this either...shh..don't tell! lol

Well, it doesn't happen until season 3 and it's in a montage where someone is getting beaten up so, you know, the sex is on par with violence.

I'm at work, too. *looks around to make sure my boss isn't looking*. Okay, I'll tell, but only because it's so much fun to say, he ends up losing it to Summer in an episode coming up, actually.

Why does it take them two seasons to get it together and have all the sex? I was totally expecting it in an upcoming episode like soon.

EEEEEEE!! SO excited that he sleeps with Summer. SO, SO excited. I actually bounced when I read that. We're at lunch now so it's ok, but my co-worker thinks I'm crazy. But whatever. Yay!!

about how she left without him, i agree, she should have stayed home with him. shows where her priorities lie, eh.
and about how ryans blaming oliver, meh,he never blames marissa i swear. well, actually, something happens in season two and he spazzes at her and it's great, but then someone says he shouldn't blame her. so meh.

Priorities! That's the word I was fishing for the whole time I wrote that post. Her priorities are hella fucked up. If she really does care about Ryan like she claims to. Like I said; who wouldn't want to stay home all alone with a guy like him on New Years? I wish he would've went to the party and found her drunk off her ass. That would've been an equally awesome scene. lol

Marissa needs the blame for the whole Oliver thing laid on her. Period.

Hailey does come back for a few more eps in the later part of Season one and an ep or two in S2&3.

Was it this episode that Summer kisses the guy and then pulls away and goes ‘You’re not Seth Cohen’? I love that :D

Marissa is a poor excuse for a girlfriend. She just uses Ryan and it bugs the hell out of me that he lets her. Ugh!

the guy is nuts. he lied about attempting suicide. totally normal?

it gets worse. only two more oliver episodes left, and i'm certain your opinion will change. or at least i'm hoping it will.

I think I love him so much because of Taylor. I adore Taylor so there you go. I'll probably not hate him like everyone else seems to. And if the only person he's really messing with is Marissa, then I'll continue to love him. As long as he doesn't mess with Seth/Summer or try to hurt Ryan then I'll love him. ^_^ Sorry.

But I guess we'll see, that could all change after I watch tonight's episodes.
