Hey all.  So I just started watching The O.C. on Sunday night via Blockbuster online.  So far I've watched the first five episodes and I really kinda love the show already ^_^  Anyway, I love to prattle on and on about TV shows (as do most people who join these communities, otherwise why would we join them, right?) and I love it when someone new

Ahhh! First season. The good ole days. Literally.
Ryan is love for the get-go, Seth is adorable but then for me atleast turned into a little asshole.
And do not judge Summer right now, you gotta wait for a little while bc she's just the annoying girl in the background basically, She hasn't gotten her charm yet.

Oh no! Adam playing an asshole?! lol I kinda can't wait to see that ^_^ But I love the actor so much that the character can turn into an ass and I'll probably still find some charm in there somewhere.

<3<3 To Ryan though. I can't get over the guys eyes. It could be that they do all the real close close up shots of him to give him the illusion of being even more angst filled...but my God. lol I just can't get over him. And he's not even *that* great looking, just going on looks alone. I dunno but he sure grabbed my heart right away.

And I'm looking forward to seeing Summer grow up a bit :) I was hoping she would.

I haven't seen a lot of Anna yet, just at the cotellian. Sorry, no clue how to spell that word ^_^ But what I saw of her, she seemed ok...if a bit pushy. But we'll see.

I'm surprised to hear that Luke stays in the picture...

His brother resurfaces? And enough to hate him and love him and hate him then love him again? Wouldn't have thought that. Which is how I feel about a lot of the stuff I've read that's going to happen in like a season or two...I guess it'll all seem natural as the show progresses...:)

I lost a bit of my Ryan/Marissa love last night but I'm going to post a seperate post about that in a bit ^_^

And no to the Luke's dad ep. I just got to the Tiajuna ep, that's the last one I saw.

dude i totally starting watching the oc a couple of months ago when soap net started doing reruns & then i bought all four seasons really fast. totally fell in love.

like someone said, don't judge summer just yet. she doesn't become a fulltime character until mid first season, so she gets more time & starts to change.

as you watch the seasons, keep an eye out for how the good people go bad and the bad people go good. it's kind of an interesting switch.

seasons 1 @& 2 are definitely the best.

I was wanting to watch OC and One Tree Hill when soap net started running them but I didn't know when they started and by the time I realized they were on it was like 12 eps in so I said screw that, I'll rent it this summer.

I already know I'll be buying the show on DVD as long as it stays as good as it currently is.

I've read that Marissa dies...not sure how I feel about that. If it's true, as far as I know it could all be fandom stuff not cannon at all. And I've also been told that Summer becomes nice and Seth turns into an asshole. I guess at this point I can't begin to see how any of that will play out. But I'm definitely intrigued by it all ^_^

Someone tell me that Summer grows up and stops going 'ew' to peoples faces to show her distaste of them.

oh myyy just you wait till the fourth season. in my opinion, it's her character that shows the most growth and maturity. she really evolves..you'll start to notice it pretty soon actually =]=]

Good :) I like Rachel a lot and was disappointed in her character.

It's the thing where you join the online club type deal and they send you DVDs through the mail. Not too bad really; like $20/month I get 3 DVDs at a time, the turn around time from when I send them back to when I get a new one is like nothing and plus, with Blockbuster the DVDs you get through the mail act as in-store coupons so you can return the mailed ones to the store to get free ones in-store and the store sends them back for you so you get new ones in the mail. It's not bad at all. And yeah, like every TV show that's out on DVD you can get through Blockbuster online ^_^
