The Stanley Hotel
So last weekend I went to the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. It was AMAZING. Anyone who likes haunted places or beautiful mountains and hiking grounds, go. Immediately. The Hotel was beautiful and was a wonderful mix of history and some ghost tales. The scenery was beautiful and the place just felt wonderful (open skies, no humidity, lovely).

I stayed somewhere that was supposed to be haunted once in this little town. It was an old downtown hotel. We were the only guests there, and the third floor was supposed to be haunted. In the middle of the night, we heard these doors slam. Only to find out the next day that someone else checked in at like 10:55 before the front desk closed, lol.

Lol! Those people ruined it! ;) It's always a little disappointing when you can disprove some little "paranormal" experience. But that sounds like it would be a good trip regardless! Old hotels can have such character. And it was probably a little spooky regardless (hopefully! ;)
