- Today in Novel workshop I basically got too excited about the novel we had to have read for class today.  So basically at one point in class I jumped into the convo because people were saying my favorite part in the book (which I adore) wasn't a satisfactory ending. So I jumped in and defended it.  And then they were like "This part was wierd too

Lol, what book were you reading, may I ask? I remember when I did Jekyll and Hyde way back in first year at Uni and I babbled about it constantly to the point the tutor told me it was obvious I had read it before and should let other people speak. Only time it ever happened.

You know you want to buy Bronson ;) there is no sense in anyone talking you out of it xD

The book is How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accent by Julia Alvarez. I didn't expect to like it, but I ended up really enjoying it. It does really cool things with time and structure (it moves backwards in time, and is a novel of connected short stories). And lol! It's fun when you get really excited about a novel... I haven't read Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for YEARS. I should really reread it...

I think I've heard of that book...I may have to check it out sometime ;) It's been years and years since I read Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde now too, I read it a bunch of times in a short period between my last year of high school and my first semester at Uni though xD
