If you've ever heard me complain about anything, it may well have been my kitchen ceiling. It was aesthetically loathsome to me, so I made it even more so by ripping down a dropped ceiling, then taking a looong time to get a new one up. But, thanks to my brother Joe and other forces for good, it has been completed, and I painted it over the past ( Read more... )

182lbs is more than I weigh and just WHOA it's not even an Olsen twin. It's like a nice averageish sized human.

lovely before and afters!!! I loathe my ceiling fan/light in my kitchen and did something similar - ripped it out one day out of pure frutration, bought a lovely, sleek and modern light fixture (that is totally at odds with my 80's era "country" kitchen which cannot be changed without ripping out my cupboards or at least replacing the cupboard doors)and also, the cap/fixture part is too small so the hole in which it is placed has a huge gap all around. MUCH better.

*rollllllllls eyes*

I like that your story has a happy ending. Perhaps mine will too.

Congrats on the weight loss. Amazing!
