Bad photos ahead

Jan 06, 2009 12:17

I didn't take many pictures over the holidays, because I'm working on enjoying the moment instead of documenting it. Plus, my neph, J., took a bunch of family photos, so hopefully I'll have access to those. That said, there were a few things I thought I'd share.

Stockings, a statue, and a shitzu )

I feel like such an insider to have been there for the making of the stockings! They look great with the accents (and stuffed full of presents, of course).

Thanks again for having us over -- it was wonderful to see you and Ms. Beetle!

Love the stockings!

I am all about the thrifted wool sweaters lately!

I felt a little guilty "killing" them. I wore one all that day until I took it off and cut it up.

OMG. These are all just ... well, I'm speechless. How much do I love it that there was a Girl Scout Troop reunion?! Also that you made the time to be there. Way to live in the moment!

The stockings are awesome. And let your glue-gun flag fly! Martha uses a glue gun!

By far my favorite picture is of the Beetle in the sparkly outfit, with parasol. Oh my god, the charm. I worship at her sparkly feet. (Btw, what's your stance on having her receive old lipsticks or eyeshadows for dress-up? Is this not an encouraged activity? Are there biohazard concerns? Wanted to check before I did anything ...)

Make up is welcome. I think. There's no policy. I'm making one now! It's welcome.

I'm also sure she'd be happy to lend you the parasol for a special occasion. She actually received two, for sharing.
