You might want to delete this comment after you see it, angelmischa, but I'm sure you'll want even more to change "knew" in the following to "new":

As far as I can tell, she's knew (started on Ashwinder in late 2007),

Very much seconded-- this is a brilliant story, in so many ways-- language, imagery, sexual content (very, very hot), emotion. I read it all at one go on ashwinder, and I must say, to a prospective reader: observe and take seriously the author's warnings-- this is not at all a happy ending fic. But it's very powerful and worth the time and pain. I can't wait to see more from this author. And you're right, it's a very interesting and original premise. It starts as if it's going to be just a PWP, but it quickly branches out into so much more.

Finally up on livejournal and thought I should come on by and thank this community for all the kind recs and reviews--it's lovely to feel so welcomed by others who are better-versed in this mad hobby I've picked up.

Quick note: the journal linked to above is not actually mine. I'm mad_queen_mab with underscores, though I don't in the least begrudge that other madqueen any new library traffic she gets out of this!
