This is an almost unbearable story made worse by the author's note that it is based on a true story. I guess that is why it is oddly non-magical. It is well written though, especially the ending. I was especially touched by the small details at the Burrow like Bill's baby blanket and the clock.

The story was quite hard to write and it took me actually one year before I could even start.

Thank you so much for reading! I know it is difficult, I could not even proof-read it at first.

I agree that the character represented by Snape is a very brave one. There really was one person in all that cruel madness, who had mercy on the youngest prisoners and helped some of them escape.

Writing this has helped me a lot and I agree that we should not forget.
