Presents to wrap, a hafla (recital) to prep and practice for (I *love* the phrase "Holiday Hafla," btw.,) dinner at a local vegan trattatoria (so psyched!) to look forward to, trying to figure out how to see everyone I've promised to see while I'm home (except Marla who has my attention by default because she's coming back from Shanghai YAY!,) an ( Read more... )

My instinct is not to wrap it, but then I get stopped at every single security check for obvious reasons, so...

You can take the bottle because it's less than 100ml (TSA flight regulations are http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm

is it alcohol based? The only problem I can see with it is if they view it as an explosive.

Also, I would refrain from wrapping it. You'll have to put all of your liquids in one ziploc bag for them to inspect and if its wrapped, that will cause issues.

Yeah, I technically know what the rules are. I just find them so tempting to break :P

Fortunately, it's just oil and no alcohol, so I shouldn't have a problem. *sigh* Why is traveling so complicated?

They totally didn't notice my ~3 ounces of liquid in three bottles that I forgot to take out last time I flew. But probably I'd wrap it there, to be safe. Or on the plane!
