The Narrator’s-Living-Room Inn was doing a brisk business this weekend. First some old friends let me know at the last minute that they’d be visiting Seattle and crashed on my floor from Friday night through Monday morning. Did we ever decide on a fallback point, or are we just going to do our nerding on LJ full-time now?

I had suggested Chuck or Dollhouse as the rendezvous point, but we never actually decided one or the other.

Personally I have no problem with just nerding out on LJ since you two are the ones who I usually have my nerdy conversations with anyway.

We certainly could do that. It's not quite as easy to start freeform conversations as in a Meet Market, but we also don't have to worry that we're annoying anyone with our blather.

I know how you feel about the Space Needle. As a Long Islander I feel the same way about many of the popular NYC tourist traps.

I actually make that comparison whenever people not form Seattle wonder why I don't get excited about the Space Needle: "Do New Yorkers get all exciited about going up the Empire State Building?"
