DS9 had some of the best episodes of any of the Star Trek series.

My personal favorite has to be the "Trouble With Tribbles" cross-over episode.

The episode where the Ferengi crash-land at Roswell is also very good.

I should probably rewatch DS9 myself if I get the chance.

They were good at doing comedic episodes as well as big dramatic ones. "Trials and Tribble-ations" was especially great, with all the riffs on classic Trek.

It's also interesting the way they took the Ferengi, a laughably-pathetic set of villains from the early days of TNG, and not only made them a great source of comic relief but also subverted the heck out of the "your species determines your personality" idea that Trek uses so much.

They also took a "show, don't tell" attitude with the space battles that other Trek didn't have, and they were big, epic battles of a Battle of Endor scale.
