Hungry like the Wolf [Locked to Ray]

Fraser was humming a song.

It was a swinging, swanky little tune that had played on the Jukebox earlier in the day, and now that it was evening and Fraser was walking home (Diefenbaker was noticably absent), it had continued to play in his head.

Dark in the forest too and it's close to hide ( Read more... )

Ray was walking down the path from the hut thing colony, opposite the direction Fraser was headed, absently batting at some low plant life with a stick. He looked up at the sound of humming and smirked when he saw red in the near distance.

"Hey, what is that, Duran Duran?" Ray asked when he got closer to Fraser. He scratched at his side, his expression calm and slightly oblivious.

Ray.

Oh, sweet temptation.

He swallowed, studying Ray with a hungry expression. "I'm not sure," he replied honestly. "Is there anyone around? Horatio? Christopher Robin? Ray Vecchio? Francesca?"

Ray blinked, wondering what was up. Fraser looked a little...weird. "Uh, well, not here. Horatio's back home making dinner with Christopher Robin, dunno about the Vecchio's. Why? Something happen?"

"No, nothing." Fraser pursed his lips. Ray looked delicious. Delectable. Hungry like the wolf, indeed. "Ray, I was wondering if you would do me a favor."

After finding there was nothing in camp to appease Ray's sweet tooth, Horatio had left the Hamlet mid-dinner preparation in search of fruit. He smiled broadly to see Fraser already on his way home and raised his hand in greeting.

"Just going for something sweet," he called as Fraser came within hearing distance.

"That sounds delightful," Fraser replied, distractedly. He stopped a short distance from him, his eyes roaming over Horatio's body, feeling unexpectedly possessive. Something primal within him shouted Mine!, and the desire to reclaim that territory was unbearably strong.

He swallowed and pursed his lips, lightly pressing one hand to his forehead.

Horatio's head tilted worriedly at the flush in Fraser's cheeks, all the more so at the press of Fraser's hand to his head. "Are you all right?" he asked, stopping short. He could feel a flush of his own stealing out of the loose collar of his shirt at the intensity of Fraser's gaze.

There was a decidedly animalistic gleam in Fraser's eyes as they stared at Horatio's throat, exposed for once.

"I have seen an interesting fruit off this way," he said, still distracted. "I could show you, if you like."
