The little beast has given me a cold and I feel completely yucky, and one of my neighbours was super rude to me on my way home, so then I went on tumblr and made the mistake of reading someone's essay about how Spike is a raving misogynist, and it's left such a bad taste in my mouth* that now I have to go watch some fluffy romantic vids on youtube

I know right? I'm writing a steamy not-quite-sex scene RN which has certainly cured me of the urge to capslock obscenities at the author ;)

I am getting more zen about people being wrong on the internet these days, but that's mostly because I go somewhere else and open my pressure valve instead of engaging ;)

Yes, this is key. Nowadays I try more and more to avoid even knowing about the wrong. It does wonders for my peace of mind. ;)

I can't keep up with the reading of the ficlets, let alone the writing. I've written five, which is a huge output for me for just a few days! And yet I'm in second to last. (Not that the points are the point, but they do somehow nudge one along.)

Yuppers! And also no. The reference is indeed the baddie from Princess Bride, but in this case, it's a stand-in for somebody else. *g*
