OK, I've been meaning to do this for a while because while 9,000 odd words is barely pocket change for some of you lot, my head it overflowing with Star Trek Reboot ideas and I doooon't haaaaave tiiiiiiime to write them. So in an attempt to rediscover the art of writing really!short!fic

Kirk/Spock! Prompt - um, you know how Spock is always getting disinhibited and being all emotional? What if Kirk got inhibited instead and got, you know, Vulcanesque?

1. K/S (or Sc/N, since I'm curious and haven't really read any of this pairing) as shown through a series of images. If you feel up to it, only image allowed, no backstory (like we're looking through photos, almost). This might end up reading like poetry. (Develop the subconscious thing you've got going consciously!)

2. Take your favorite physics/maths (or science in general) concept/equation. Build a short fic around it (any characters, any pairings. McCoy might be a challenge, K/S would be cool). Or, I just thought of this-- compare each character to a scientific concept? Or have each character name their favorite scientific concept. That might turn out as a character/group study.

Sorry if those suggestions are restricting.

I don't know, something fun and ridiculous where Kirk is awesomely over the top, Spock is intense and outwardly disapproving but he makes a twitch-smile, and Bones is *snarky*.
