Another realization I had at the AR: I need an academic website where I can keep people up to date on what I'm writing and researching. Any web techies with advice on what's my best way to do that please let me know. I'm on Sympatico dial-up and I suspect there's a webpage hosting thingie there soemwhere I could tap into. Yeah, Sympatico offers up to 5M of free space, which isn't much but if all you're keeping is text and links it should be adequate.

See http://www1.sympatico.ca/help/Webspace, and you can also log into sympatico's customer self-care system and activate it from there.

There are also tools that can help you maintain it without having know HTML - blogger comes to mind, see http://www.blogger.com
