 The clothing swap was packed with women.  It was easily the most packed swap I've attended.  I even saw some friends, who looked fabulous as always.  There was a ton of clothes (and I brought home some really good ones).  Dez had made a changing booth out of pvc pipe and fabric that was very impressive, even if the line was so big to use it that

I have to make it out to one of these eventually! They sound awesome. And I suspect the socks and pants thing applies to both genders.

Yeah, I agree. The men's list was pretty useful for me too. He suggested that if you're buying a suit, buy a grey one so that it's wearable day or night. I thought that was applicable to my academic drag.
