Missing travel

It is hard both to realize how recently I was a world traveler and to accept being limited, pretty much, to travel by car and within the area of a few nearby states. This "deprivation" is on my mind more often than would be expected. You're very lucky to have been able to go as many places as you did. I'm a tad envious. I certainly understand how being limited can make you feel deprived!

I'm sure there are plenty of driving-distance things that are interesting -- maybe not as cool as the international stuff, but at least enough to keep the wanderlust at bay.

I seem to have lost/misplaced the CD with all of my Ireland photos, but I have some of my favorites on my hard drive here at work. I'll zip them up and email them to you before I forget!

I'd love that. I'm sure that the CD will turn up, assuming your collection of computer-related miscellany is as extensive as mine.

It's not the size of the collection as much as it is how widely it's dispersed around the house. :/
