Alex was certain Chris was going to pass out with delight at all the chances he was getting to take over and run things. He'd practically thrown him out the door. It was a good night for a dinner out, he thought. He'd meet this blogger he'd been following - after all, if someone is going to write about food in the metroplex, he should pay attention.

He dressed well for the occasion, figuring it might lead to the man writing about AA. Or other things. Old queen indeed. Alex had looked at his picture and if that was what an old queen looked like, he hoped he aged into that someday.

He entered the restaurant, looking around and finding his 'date' for the evening. "Is the doctor in?" He asked, smiling, as he approached the table.

Tobias watched as a very attractive young man entered the restaurant. He was dressed beautifully and moved with confidence. He was a firm believer that it never hurt to look and he perused him discreetly until he realized he was coming to his table. He took a sip of water to cover his surprise and set it down once he was greeted. Getting to his feet, he offered his hand.

"That would be me. But please, call me Tobias." He smiled and gestured to the open seat. "Thank you for joining me."

Alex shook his hand, smiling. "Nice to meet you, Tobias. I'm Alex. And I can't believe someone didn't beat me to the punch on your blog. Usually takes me a day or so to check in." He took the seat with a dip of the head.

"So, mind if I defer to you for ordering? This is your dinner, after all. I don't mind if you want to share dishes to try as much as possible." He offered. He followed the competition, but since opening, he rarely took advantage of any of them.

"Ah, well I suppose not everyone wants to share dinner with a stranger." He shrugged, sitting back down. "I'm used to relative silence, I was quite glad I got someone at all. It'd be shame to eat this kind of meal by myself."

"That would be perfect, thank you. I looked over the menu a bit and I think a selection of sushi along with several of the small plates would probably serve us best. Give us a taste without indigestion." He had considered some of the entrees as well, but the meal was on the house and he felt badly taking advantage of that. "I'm afraid I don't drink wine, but if you'd like to order something by all means."
