Elliot usually had a rather long tether when it came to things like shopping. Not that this seemed like normal shopping. From the description Carrie had provided, it sounded like the closer thing to a spice souk he would get in this part of the world, and he was actually rather looking forward to it. He hadn't really known taht there was somewhere like that around here.

"Really, precious. I don't mind. I'm actually kind of looking forward to it," he admitted as he took her hand, swinging their joined ones gently, his fingers twining with hers. "I was just thinking how the thought reminds me of the souks I got to go to in the Middle East. I always really enjoyed that."

He pushed open the door for her so she could enter first. "Cart, basket?" he said as they entered, unconsciously petting the sleeve of her sweater for a moment. Sooooft.
