Riley had been waiting only a few minutes before Laszlo came in, her water barely touched as she'd flipped through the menu briefly. She raised a hand briefly to catch his eye when he looked around and set aside her menu when he came up. Standing to hug him, she grinned mischievously when they sat.

"Should we use code names? We're on a secret mission to make sure Taehyun is good enough for our baby boy, I feel like we should."

Taehyun laughed, easily maintaining a pleasant facade. "I guess we will. I've been lucky so far," he said as he noted down the order. Fucker was either testing him or just trying to irritate him. Well Taehyun wouldn't let his annoyance show. After all, he'd dealt with worse. If this guy was just trying to get a reaction out of him he'd be disappointed. "I'll get those out to you as soon as they're ready. If you need anything else, just let me know."

"Thanks, appreciate it." Laszlo returned Riley's look with his best angelic expression he could. He toasted her with his beer and then took a sip. Taehyun definitely had good taste in beer. He didn't know if he really liked that fact or not, especially because the man hadn't even reacted to his comment. Maybe he would be good with Robert. If he could deal with Laszlo at his attempt at annoying, he'd probably be able to deal with Robert when the man let loose everything he was thinking.

"So, Scarlett, should we take in a movie after this? Make it a full date? Or would you rather go dancing? I'm only in town a few more days and then it's back to New York."

With Taehyun gone, Riley kicked Laszlo under the table. "We're investigating, not creeping the guy out, Laszlo."

She sipped her beer again, thinking about how she'd like to spend her time. It was rare that she got this time with him, so she tried to make the most of it. "Well, I'm sure there are some good scary movies showing somewhere, and it's been a while since I'd had a handsome man cling to me because he's a scaredy cat, if you're up for it?" She winked and toasted him.

Taehyun focussed on his other three tables until Scarlett's - or whatever the hell her real name was - appetizer was ready. He carefully set them down on the table. "Was there anything else you needed right now. A refill maybe?"

Laszlo reached under the table to try to rub at his leg. She kicked pretty hard and it hurt.

"Oh, I think it's you that will be clinging to me, m'dear. Let's face it, I'm the man at the table and... all right, you're probably far more manly than I am." He might be in his mid-thirties but he couldn't resist sticking his tongue out at her. "Scary movie, it is. You pick and my treat."

With Taehyun's reapproach, he realized that his beer was empty. "Yeah, another? Could I get the seasonal that Scarlett got?"

She dropped her voice and leaned forward, affecting a rakish grin and masculinity. "I'll take care of ya, sweetheart." She settled back into her chair with a big wink. "I'll be sure to pick a good one."

She had only drunk half of her beer so she shook her head when Taehyun asked her if she wanted another. When he headed back to get Laszlo another beer, she pushed the appetizer plate closer to Laszlo and picked a bit off the side to taste. "Mmm, good. So, Colonel Mustard, what are our initial assessments of the poor, harangued Taehyun?"

"Sure," Taehyun answered, picking the empty glass up from the table. Once again, he checked in on his other tables before heading to the bar. Two of his tables had left and the night was beginning to wind down, so that'd make getting to his tables quicker. As soon as he got to the bar though, the dinners were ready so he picked those up too.

He arrived back to the Clue table, carefully balancing the tray with his right hand. "Ok, here's your beer and cheeseburger," Taehyun said as he rearranged the tray so it wouldn't topple over with the loss of the items in question. "And the roast chicken for you. Was there anything else I could get for you?"

Laszlo was really impressed with how fast the food arrived. He'd have to remember this place the next time he visited. Or if he moved down here. After all, he already had an offer of a place to stay. That was for the future though. For now, he debated with himself whether he should use a snarky response or a polite one or if he should hit on Taehyun.

"This looks great. We'll probably need something in a couple minutes. She's about done with her beer and I'm trying to get her drunk and take advantage of her so if you could bring another beer by in a bit, that'd be great." Laszlo moved his legs out of kicking range because he knew Riley was going to kick his ass for that one.

Riley saved her retaliation for later. They had plenty of time at the movie for her to get him back. For now, her food looked great and they'd managed to not completely scare off Taehyun.

She shrugged at his comments. "Well, it's his money, so I'll have another, sure. Thanks so much, Taehyun."
