It had been relatively busy for a Monday. Normally, it was the day that Darcy was able to work on inventory and send Dalton lists of what they need delivered from the greenhouses. The rest of the flowers, she ordered from suppliers that delivered every Wednesday. Today, she'd had to finish several different arrangements that had been ordered with very little notice, and she'd only just finished her order. On top of that, Dalton kept calling to discuss possible ideas for some charity event he'd gotten into his head they needed to organize, and she knew she'd end up giving in because she couldn't tell him no.

After finishing with the paperwork, she was grateful to leave the office and head back downstairs. She helped a woman buy a pretty bouquet for her dinner table before she started walking the floor. She noticed a young man looking around and it didn't appear that he'd been helped yet, so she headed his way.

"Good afternoon," she said, smiling as she reached him. "Are you looking for any specific today or just browsing?"

"Hi!" He beamed at her. "I'm looking for plants that can stand up to a lot of over-watering and then neglect by small children. Also paint. And possibly glue."

He saw her name on the lanyard and his grin increased fractionally.

"I should offer in full disclosure that I'm Isaac, Luke's roommate. He recommended the place to me." Sort of.

Darcy was trying to figure out what type of plant to suggest when he introduced himself. "Luke's Isaac?" She grinned and reached up to push her hair behind her ear. "I've heard a little bit about you. I'm Darcy," she said, reaching out to squeeze his shoulder. "I'm Luke's enjoying the plants enough to recommend the place."

"So, you need plants that can handle hazardous conditions involving children, overwatering and no watering, as well as not tempt you to try smoking them?" She winked and motioned towards the other half of the shop. "I don't think we have anything that satisfies every single one of those, but I bet we can find something that works. Shall we?"

"I think he was worried I would manage to kill something out of sheer perversion or something, but I swear they are doing very well. And they make the place look a lot more home-y. Sauce has even managed to avoid them."

"Let's!" He followed in her wake, "I would like to point out that I am not liable to start smoking any old thing, regardless of Luke's sad opinion of me."
