Tobias wished it would hurry up and get colder already. His summer wardrobe was his least favorite and he longed to wrap himself up in his big wooley coat for the duration of winter. Sometimes he missed the northeast. So deep was he in his thoughts that he almost fell over the young woman picking up the cards so diligently. The sight broke his heart a little.
"Here, let me help." He squat down next to her, picking them up, "People can be so careless.
Ava had gone about a block and already had ten cards or so, one of which she was smoothing out when an older man stooped next to her.
"Yeah. I mean, I throw flyers away sometimes too, maybe they're just not interested but this seems...wrong." She shifted and glanced up at his face, eyes widening slightly. Huh. Of all the people. "Um. Hi again." He may not even recognize her. She'd been holding onto his card for three months.
"Yes, I understand," He said sympathetically, studying her face trying to remember her, then it clicked, "I met you at the dog park, correct? Your name, it was pretty...Eva?"
