When Lilah had asked him to handle swim class duties, Will had happily accepted. It meant a change in their routine Sunday brunch, but it also meant he got the kids to himself while Lilah and Mike enjoyed a little private time for themselves. There wasn't much Will wouldn't do for his kids, and sitting around watching them swim for an hour every Sunday wasn't much of a hardship. Besides, they were thirteen now. Teenagers. It had been a couple of weeks since their birthday, but he still couldn't believe he was actually the father of teenagers. He could still remember holding their tiny bodies, one on each arm, and now they were growing up so fast.

"We'll get lunch at Shaw's after class," he told them, knowing they both liked the newer burger place on Magnolia. Ciaran pointed to Fiona's bright coppery hair. She was hard to miss, even when it was soaked to a darker, bloody red.

"Fiona, my pride, joy and frighteningly grown up girl." He leaned back in chair, surveying him. No recognition. Interesting. "I haven't seen much of her this month, so here I am getting in some facetime. Though I think she's forgotten I exist."

He laughed a little ruefully. "Yours?"
