Caleb loved this time of the week the best, probably. Things were just a little too slow in the beginning of the week, when it was pretty much just him and his paperwork for company, but Thursdays were when things started gearing up for the weekend's activities. He was running back and forth as usual, but stopped short when he reached the lobby and spotted a twenty-something woman just sort of looking around. She was well early for the play later tonight, and--he checked his phone real quick--his next film wasn't showing for another couple hours either. Thinking she might be here to buy tickets early, he headed over to greet her.

"Welcome, welcome," he grinned as he approached. She didn't look familiar, but enough people were in and out of here that he didn't know everyone by face. Damn good thing, that. "I'm Caleb. What kind of show're you in the mood for?"

Jenni had come in pretty much off the street, not having looked it up. She'd wanted to see what it was about more than anything, without preconceptions. Perhaps that was sloppy--her English term paper side certainly told her it was--but her dramatic side liked to feel things out.

"Hi, Caleb. I'm Jenni," she said, smiling brightly at him. "I'm not sure, actually, what kind of shows do you have?" she asked. "A friend of mine told me about this place. I'm a drama buff with a cast of children I get to play with all year, y'see, so I thought I'd investigate this place."

"Well hey Jenni," he smiled, "and if you're a drama buff, then firstly I like you already. And secondly, there's a production of Hairspray running through May." He indicated the poster on the far wall behind her. He was pretty excited about it; musicals were just about his favorite type of production even if watching the rehearsals kind of made him want to be on stage. Just as well he was more behind the scenes though, because he didn't quite have the voice for it. "They're rehearsing for tonight as we speak. Of course, if you're into something else, you can always watch a movie or check out a show tomorrow night. Got a great band playing at the club."

Caleb regarded her curiously. "So you teach then, or run a theatre of your own?"

"Oooh, Hairspray," Jenni said, not quite bouncing onto her toes. "I love musicals." She had a voice suited only to a stage--nothing prodigious, but decent enough for productions where one belted things out. "I have got to catch that show, then." She'd cut Gabe some slack, though--she doubted he wanted her to inflict it on him. However, there was a good bet she might drag him into the club.

"Oh, I'm just a teacher. I teach high school English over MacArthur High. I also run the Drama club at the school and a more general public one in the summer. We put on little productions and do mini-fundraisers and such."
