Colin grinned over at the little boy, setting down whatever was in his arms on one of the flat surfaces and then taking the toy car out of his pocket for Alden. It was small enough that he could carry it around and yet large enough that he could feel safe about Alden not being able to swallow it.

He handed the toy to the little boy, looking up at Miss Adrienne with a smile. "It's been sanitized and washed, no worries."

He looked over at Jase, "Everything alright, sir?" Jase had a sort of expectant air to him, which meant that there were going to be some late nights ahead of him, he was willing to bet.

"Wasn't worried at all," Adrienne said with a grin back, shooting Jase a curious look as he chuckled.

Jase shook his head, grinning at his cousin before shifting his attentions to Colin. "Just fine." He paused and made a face as the word 'sir' registered. "Sit, sit, you two. I had an idea."

Adrienne groaned, shaking her head and wheeling her chair over from her desk, shifting Alden when he fussed and reached out towards Colin. "Co!" he said plaintively, waving the toy car.

She raised a slight eyebrow before asking, "Do you mind taking him? I'm obviously second rate with you around." Jase snorted quietly and she gave him another look. "Something the matter Jase?"

Jase shook his head, trying for innocent. "Something in my throat. Might be coming down with a cold."

Colin winced on the inside. Jase had an idea. That could either be a good thing or a possibly disastrous thing.

He blushed slightly and reached his arms out for the little boy. "What's the matter, little man? " he asked Alden with a fond look.

Jase looking innocent was about as convincing as a nun in Victoria's Secret. "Vitamin C tabs and some rest can help with that."

"Co," Alden said softly, cuddling into Colin and blinking as he yawned. Adrienne smiled fondly before turning and looking at Jase.

"Okay, buddy. What's the scoop?"

Jase grinned. "Like I said, I have an idea. What do you guys think about putting on end of spring/beginning of summer fashion show, proceeds to benefit a local charity?"

Ad' suppressed a groan, thinking of all the extra work that would entail. But it wasn't a bad idea, actually, and almost went hand in hand with her event coordinating idea. That she should run by them now, as Colin would get more work that as well. "It's not a bad idea," she said softly. "Kind of goes hand in hand with something I've been mulling over."
